WATCH SKY 10 LIVE: Rescue crews respond after fire erupts inside home in Westchester

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. — Authorities responded to a southwest Miami-Dade home that they say caught fire Tuesday morning.

Sky 10 flew over the scene around 11:45 a.m. near the 1800 block of Southwest 82nd Street in the county’s Westchester area as crews worked to extinguish the blaze.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue officials said firefighters arrived to find heavy smoke and flames coming from a “single-family home.”

Officials said the incident was upgraded to a “first alarm” as crews worked to put out the fire.
