HOMESTEAD, Fla. — A Missing Child Alert was issued Thursday morning for a 16-year-old boy from Homestead.

According to Homestead police, Rashaud Dixon was last seen at about 3 p.m. Wednesday in the 2600 block of Southeast 12th Road.
Police said Dixon contacted his mother at 9 p.m. and made “concerning statements” to her which promoted the endangered missing juvenile alert.

According to authorities, Dixon does not suffer from any medical conditions.
Dixon is described by police as a Black male, who is 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighs about 120 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes and no visible tattoos or scars.
He was last seen wearing a white shirt, white pants and black sandals.
