Authorities have since taken the suspect, Christian Ippolito, into custody.

Police said Ippolito, 24, of Lantana, got into an argument with one of the victims ― whom he knew ― just outside the restaurant, pulled a gun from his waistband and fired two shots toward the victim.

One of the shots struck the victim in the chest while the other shot went into the restaurant and struck a patron in the leg, police said.
