Police: Man gets arrested again for destroying slot machine in Hialeah

HIALEAH, Fla. — A 50-year-old man faced charges on Tuesday after police officers accused him of damaging slot machines in Hialeah.

Surveillance video shows Alejandro Izaguirre shortly after 3:10 p.m. on May 2, at 3296 Palm Ave., “breaking the machine with a possible metal stick,” a police officer wrote, according to an arrest report.

Izaguirre had been “previously arrested for a similar incident” on Sept. 18 in Hialeah, and when he was arrested on Monday, he told his girlfriend, the arrest “was because of the slot machines,” according to police.

Izaguirre faced charges of criminal mischief and grand theft. His bond was $5,000.
