Broward’s free FIFA World Cup watch parties will be at in-door arena for 18,000

SUNRISE, Fla. — There will be four free FIFA World Cup watch parties at the Amerant Bank Arena, an indoor arena that can host 18,000 guests in Sunrise.

At 9 p.m., on June 12, the U.S. team will be playing Paraguay. The arena’s doors will open at least one hour before the game, according to organizers.

At 7:30 p.m., on June 27, Colombia will be playing against Portugal. Security will not allow big bags.

The other two parties are on July 11 for the quarterfinals and on July 19 for the final. The times had yet to be announced on Friday afternoon.
