Miami-Dade deputies seek senior reported missing

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla — Deputies with the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office asked for the public’s help Saturday in locating a 71-year-old woman who they say has been reported missing and is also considered to be endangered.

According to deputies, Mary Maruri was last seen around noon Friday near her home in the 5300 block of Southwest 62nd Avenue in South Miami.

Deputies said she is 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighs about 115 pounds, and has green eyes and black hair. They said she was last seen wearing an unknown shirt, black pants and unknown shoes.

Investigators said Maruri may be in the company of her dog and has not made contact with family or friends since she was last seen. They said she may be in need of services.
