MIAMI — The Miami Heat are adding a familiar name to their roster.
According to NBA insider Chris Haynes, the Heat are going to sign free agent swingman Tim Hardaway Jr.

Hardaway Jr. is the son of former Heat star shooter Tim Hardaway.
The younger Hardaway has played 13 seasons in the NBA for five teams: The New York Knicks, Dallas Mavericks, Atlanta Hawks, Detroit Pistons and Denver Nuggets.
He’s a career 41.9% shooter from the field and 36.5% shooter from three-point range.
Last season with Denver, Hardaway averaged 13.5 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.4 assists while shooting 44.7% from the field and 40.7% from downtown.
