MIAMI BEACH, Fla. — Mount Sinai Medical Center hosted a group of government leaders on Sunday for a tour of the brand new Braman Comprehensive Cancer Center on Alton Road in Miami Beach.

The facility brings together advanced imaging, surgery, radiation and medical oncology, along with clinical research and precision medicine, all under one roof.
Hospital leaders said the goal is to expand access to comprehensive cancer care for South Florida families without patients having to leave the area for treatment.

The new center also features several infusion floors overlooking Biscayne Bay, along with many high-tech treatment rooms and art installations throughout the building.
Mount Sinai officials said the facility is designed to focus not only on treatment, but also long-term recovery and survivorship care for patients.
