Humane Society of Broward seeks ‘furever’ home for Ghost, other furry friends

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Ghost is a 7-year-old, 33-pound dog looking for her forever home through the Humane Society of Broward County.

HSBC’s Cherie Wachter said Ghost is sweet, gentle and full of personality. She says Ghost previously lived with a cat, walks well on a leash and enjoys both going to the dog park and relaxing on the couch.

Wachter said Ghost would be a great fit for a family with children or someone looking for an active dog who also enjoys being a couch potato.

Ghost’s adoption fee will be half price Saturday for Local 10 viewers.

Those interested should mention they saw Ghost on Local 10 and visit the Humane Society of Broward’s website to complete a pre-adoption application.
