MIAMI — Miami Northwestern Senior High School blanked Miami Jackson Senior High School 42-0 on Thursday night in the Soul Bowl, using a pair of touchdown passes from Dontavius Kinchens to pull away in the rivalry matchup at Traz Powell Stadium on Miami Dade College’s North Campus.

Kinchens connected with Aviyon Darien for a touchdown before finding Adrian Cox for another score. Northwestern’s defense kept the Generals off the scoreboard as the Bulls cruised to the shutout victory.
Northwestern improved to 2-0 on the season.
Jackson fell to 1-1 on the season.
