Jail records show Fredi Benjamin Darmon is facing one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill.
Deputies said they responded July 28 to a reported road rage incident in the 1700 block of Stirling Road.
The victim told deputies he was driving westbound in the 1200 block of Stirling Road when he was cut off by Darmon, who was driving a Mercedes-Benz, according to an arrest report.
The two men argued, and Darmon allegedly pulled out a gun and pointed it directly at the victim, the report states.
Deputies said the victim told them he was “100% certain” the object was a gun and that he feared for his life and safety.

The victim said he pulled out his cellphone and began recording after Darmon displayed the gun, but he did not capture the entire incident, according to the report.
The victim later described the weapon to deputies and flagged down a BSO deputy, the report states.
Deputies searched the area but were unable to locate the vehicle or Darmon at the time, according to the report.
On July 29, the victim identified Darmon from a photo lineup, deputies said.
As of Wednesday, he was no longer listed as an inmate in the Broward County jail records system.
