Christopher Urbina said his front-door surveillance camera recorded the thief who was wearing a face mask.

“To become a citizen is a very big deal, and it’s a process,” said Urbina, who was born in Honduras.

The video showed the mail theft shortly after 2:10 p.m. on Aug. 28. Urbina said the experience affected his sense of safety in the neighborhood, so he is considering moving out.

“I just moved here like a month ago … If someone feels so comfortable to steal my mail, like what other things can happen over here? I don’t know,” Urbina said.
