CUDJOE KEY, Fla. \u2014 A Cudjoe Key man is facing a second-degree murder charge after sheriff\u2019s deputies said he killed his wife in a bloody attack on Thursday morning.<\/p>\n

According to the Monroe County Sheriff\u2019s Office, deputies responded just before 6 a.m. to the home of Bradly Shawn Shadduck, 56, and his wife, Lynne Alane Shadduck, 62, at 136 Maracaibo Lane.<\/p>\n

Deputies said Bradly Shadduck went to his next door neighbor\u2019s house \u201cwith a Cleveland Browns blanket and no clothes on\u201d and told his neighbor to \u201ccall 911, dude; my f—ing whole house is full of blood, covered everywhere with blood, say it, will be there.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to an MCSO arrest report, deputies arrived to find the home \u201cin complete disarray\u201d with several broken household items and \u201cblood and blood smears throughout the floor, along with a large pool of blood located in the center of the living room.\u201d<\/p>\n

Deputies said Bradly Shadduck \u201cwas completely naked and only covered with a blanket,\u201d while Lynne Shadduck was lying naked in the hallway, bloodied, bruised and unconscious, but still breathing. <\/p>\n

The report states that when deputies asked Bradly Shadduck what happened, he simply said, \u201cThis just happened,\u201d but \u201crefused to provide any additional details regarding the incident and repeatedly stated his wife needed help.\u201d<\/p>\n

Medics took Lynne Shadduck to Lower Keys Medical Center, where she would be pronounced dead later that morning.<\/p>\n

Authorities said Bradly Shadduck told detectives he and his wife had \u201cfood and lots of drinks\u201d at a restaurant on Summerland Key the previous night and claimed the home was in disarray because of \u201crough sex.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cBradly said that when he drinks, he passes out and doesn\u2019t remember anything,\u201d MCSO Deputy Paul McNalley wrote in the arrest report. \u201cBradly doesn\u2019t remember going to his neighbor\u2019s home asking for help. Bradly then asked for a lawyer.\u201d<\/p>\n

In video showing him going to his neighbor\u2019s home to make the 911 call request, deputies said Bradly Shadduck \u201cappears to be wet and possibly just took a shower.\u201d<\/p>\n

They said an additional piece of video showed him banging on the windows and door of another neighbor a little less than two hours before.<\/p>\n

\u201cBradly at this time is shirtless and wearing a light-colored pair of shorts. Bradly is heard breathing heavily and attempts to open the front door by entering a passcode, but was unsuccessful,\u201d McNalley wrote. \u201cBradly is seen banging on the windows and doors for approximately (two to three) minutes. Bradly is then seen grabbing the railing with both hands and shaking it. (The homeowner) gave consent to search and there were two bloody prints located on that railing.\u201d<\/p>\n

Authorities said a search warrant of the home later revealed blood \u201cthroughout the entire residence,\u201d including on towels and in the bathroom and master bedroom.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe main hallway had a bloody smear on the floor as if the victim was dragged down the hallway to the bathroom,\u201d McNalley wrote.<\/p>\n

McNalley concluded that evidence showed what appeared to be \u201ca significant fight and struggle for the victim,\u201d but he noted that Bradly Shadduck was unhurt.<\/p>\n

Bradly Shadduck, as of Friday morning, was being held in MCSO\u2019s Key West jail facility with no listed bond.<\/p>\n
