MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. \u2014 A 24-year-old Miami-Dade man has been arrested months after investigators say he threatened a teenager with a handgun during a road rage confrontation that stemmed from a kiss being blown at a female passenger in his vehicle.<\/p>\n

According to an arrest report from the Miami-Dade Sheriff\u2019s Office, Christian Quintero was taken into custody Tuesday at the MDSO Kendall District Station and transported to the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.<\/p>\n

The investigation began after an incident on Feb. 10 near Southwest 48th Street and Southwest 107th Avenue.<\/p>\n

Investigators said a teenage witness told detectives that he was riding an electric bicycle with a friend around 3:30 p.m. when he blew a kiss toward a woman sitting inside a white Toyota Camry. <\/p>\n

The teen said the male driver of the vehicle, later identified as Quintero, became enraged and began following and harassing both teens while cursing at them.<\/p>\n

The teen who blew the kiss told investigators he was able to evade the vehicle, but his friend was not. <\/p>\n

During the encounter, the teen recorded video footage that captured the vehicle and its Florida license plate, according to the report.<\/p>\n

When detectives later interviewed the other teen, he corroborated his friend\u2019s account and provided additional details. <\/p>\n

According to the arrest report, the second teen said the driver followed closely behind him before he stopped his electric bicycle. <\/p>\n

The report states the driver then approached him in the vehicle, rolled down a window, pointed a handgun at him and asked, \u201cWhere\u2019s your boy?\u201d<\/p>\n

The teen told investigators he feared for his life during the confrontation.<\/p>\n

According to the report, the teen also said the driver exited the vehicle at one point and claimed, \u201cI\u2019m a cop.\u201d<\/p>\n

Investigators traced the license plate captured in the video to a vehicle registered to another man, but further investigation revealed that Quintero lives at the same address as the vehicle owner and matched the physical description provided by the victim, authorities said.<\/p>\n

According to the report, the victim identified Quintero in a photo lineup on April 15. <\/p>\n

Detectives also reviewed the video provided by the victim\u2019s friend, which reportedly showed the Toyota Camry following both teenagers. Investigators said the footage also showed two occupants inside the vehicle, including a driver who appeared to be Quintero and a white female passenger.<\/p>\n

Quintero was taken into custody Tuesday on charges of aggravated assault with a firearm and falsely impersonating a police officer. <\/p>\n

According to the arrest report, he declined to speak with detectives following his arrest.<\/p>\n

As of Wednesday afternoon, Quintero remained at TGK on a $7,500 bond. <\/p>\n
