MIAMI \u2014 A man who tried to kidnap a Miami wireless store employee as he robbed the business of several cellphones was identified after his own cellphone seemingly fell out of his pocket as he took off, authorities said.<\/p>\n

Miami police said Sulayman Zacchery Njie robbed the Cricket Wireless at 5742 NW Second Ave. \u2015 in the city\u2019s Little Haiti neighborhood \u2015 on March 9. Officers took the 39-year-old into custody on four felony charges Tuesday.<\/p>\n

According to an arrest warrant, Njie walked into the store at around 10:20 a.m. and told the lone employee that he \u201cwanted to make a payment for his wireless account.\u201d<\/p>\n

Authorities said he then approached the woman and grabbed her by the jacket, telling her, \u201cGive me the phones.\u201d<\/p>\n

The worker would later tell police that Njie \u201cwas holding one hand in his jacket pocket as if he had a gun,\u201d the warrant states.<\/p>\n

He told her \u201cto go to the back of the store, where the safe that contains the cellphones is located,\u201d police said, and \u201cgrabbed (her) by her jacket and pushed her towards the safe,\u201d where she opened the safe. Njie \u201ctook several iPhones and Android phones from it,\u201d the warrant states.<\/p>\n
