Why aren\u2019t you answering the phone? You see I\u2019ve been calling you. This is Steven.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Police said the victim then hung up the phone.<\/p>\n<p>According to the report, the victim first notified a Miami Gardens Police Department victims advocate on May 24 after Rivers called her for the first time.<\/p>\n<p>Police said the victim, who is an international student from Colombia, said she is in fear for her life and believes Rivers might soon be released from jail.<\/p>\n<p>She said hearing his voice is now \u201cgiving her flashbacks\u201d of being attacked by him.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/southfloridamovingguides.com\/?p=2587\">Most Americans see freedoms under threat but core to nation\u2019s identity, AP-NORC poll finds<\/a><\/p>\n<p>According to authorities, the alleged sexual battery happened just after 7 a.m. on Jan. 25 at FMU\u2019s campus at 15800 NW 42<sup>nd<\/sup> Ave. in Miami Gardens.<\/p>\n<p>Police said the student was waiting at a bus stop when Rivers, who is homeless, whispered at her and followed her back onto campus.<\/p>\n<p>They said Rivers entered the campus by jumping a fence and asked the victim to use her cellphone.
