And when a 7-year-old boy tried to defend his mother, Womble kicked him in the chest, according to police.<\/p>\n<p>Police officers arrested Gadson and Womble on Monday in Fort Lauderdale, and corrections booked them at the Broward County Main Jail, where they remained without bond Wednesday afternoon, records show. <\/p>\n<p>Gadson faced three counts of burglary with assault or battery.
