MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. \u2014 After a FIFA World Cup fan invasion of about 50,000 Scots in Boston, a group of Tartan Army fans in kilts arrived on Saturday at Miami International Airport. <\/p>\n

They had tested Boston pubs\u2019 supply of Samuel Adams Boston Lager kegs, and they promised to challenge Miami\u2019s pints of Tennent\u2019s Lager. <\/p>\n

\u201cIt was a mad party. We drank for nine days. We partied every single day, more or less until the bars shut,\u201d said a fan who was wearing a traditional wool diced red and white Glengarry bonnet. <\/p>\n

More Scots will be arriving for the match against Brazil at 6 p.m. on Wednesday at the Miami Stadium, better known as the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens. <\/p>\n

\u201cI am from the highlands of Scotland, and I have never experienced a city like Miami,\u201d said a fan who identified himself as a \u201csilver fox.\u201d \u201cThe good thing is the bars and clubs open a lot later, so we will be consuming more beer.\u201d<\/p>\n
