WASHINGTON \u2014 President Donald Trump released a public poll question on Saturday on social media.<\/p>\n

Trump suggested renaming the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement to the National Immigration and Customs Enforcement. <\/p>\n

\u201cIt will totally discombobulate Crooked, Dishonest, and Unpatriotic Reporters and Journalists,\u201d Trump wrote. <\/p>\n

ICE faced severe public backlash for the fatal shootings of Renee Nicole Good and Alex Pretti, two 37-year-old U.S. citizens in Minneapolis. <\/p>\n

Human rights groups have also condemned the Trump administration for detaining migrants without criminal records, separating families, deporting asylum seekers to countries where they face persecution, and for issues at detention facilities. <\/p>\n

\u201cFor them to say, \u2018We went to a NICE Facility today,\u2019 as opposed to ICE or, \u2018NICE Agents have deported a Violent Drug Dealer,\u2019 they won\u2019t be able to handle it,\u201d Trump wrote. \u201cThey will go totally crazy!\u201d<\/p>\n

Trump added NICE would be \u201ca much more prestigious\u201d name. <\/p>\n

\u201cEveryone loves it, but I have been told by the legendary Tom Homan that the Agents do not love it as much as the other population,\u201d Trump wrote. <\/p>\n
