{"id":3132,"date":"2026-06-25T11:33:24","date_gmt":"2026-06-25T11:33:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/southfloridamovingguides.com\/?p=3132"},"modified":"2026-06-25T11:33:24","modified_gmt":"2026-06-25T11:33:24","slug":"fhp-2-women-dead-after-driver-crashes-tesla-into-large-truck-in-homestead","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/southfloridamovingguides.com\/?p=3132","title":{"rendered":"FHP: 2 women dead after driver crashes Tesla into large truck in Homestead"},"content":{"rendered":"<article>\n<p>HOMESTEAD, Fla.  \u2014 Two women have died following a crash Thursday morning in Homestead that involved a Tesla and a large truck, authorities confirmed. <\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/southfloridamovingguides.com\/?p=3130\">Heat fans dream big as trade for Giannis Antetokounmpo shakes the NBA<\/a><\/p>\n<p>According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at about 3:30 a.m. in the northbound lanes of South Dixie Highway near Southwest 127<sup>th<\/sup> Avenue.<\/p>\n<p>Troopers said the driver of the Tesla crashed into the back of the truck, which was part of a caravan of trucks driving slowly in the area, at about 20 mph.<\/p>\n<p>The truck drivers had just finished working up the street before the crash occurred, authorities said.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/southfloridamovingguides.com\/?p=3128\">What Heat and Bucks fans are saying about the Giannis blockbuster trade<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Both women, who authorities said were in their late 20s or early 30s, were pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s my son\u2019s wife \u2013 one of those girls,\u201d Constantine Allwood told Local 10 News. \u201cI feel a way for her because she\u2019s very young. She\u2019s supposed to live out her life.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The victims\u2019 bodies were removed from the Tesla shortly after 7 a.m.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s unclear what caused the driver to crash into the back of the truck.
