They said the father and daughter remained in the vehicle waiting.<\/p>\n<p>Investigators said an altercation started in the parking lot, and the father and daughter were shot while they were inside the car.<\/p>\n<p>They said the girl was conscious and alert after being shot. Police were also conducting a house-by-house search as they looked for the suspect, who remained at large.<\/p>\n<p>A spokesperson with the Broward Sheriff\u2019s Office confirmed the Hallandale Beach Police Department is the lead agency on the case.<\/p>\n<p><i>This is a breaking news story.
