{"id":682,"date":"2026-05-19T18:35:54","date_gmt":"2026-05-19T18:35:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/southfloridamovingguides.com\/?p=682"},"modified":"2026-05-19T18:35:54","modified_gmt":"2026-05-19T18:35:54","slug":"miami-dade-man-accused-of-firing-gun-at-wife-during-domestic-dispute","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/southfloridamovingguides.com\/?p=682","title":{"rendered":"Miami-Dade man accused of firing gun at wife during domestic dispute"},"content":{"rendered":"<article>\n<p>MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla.  \u2014 A Miami-Dade County man is facing an attempted murder charge after deputies say he fired a gun at his wife during a domestic dispute inside their home on Monday. <\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/southfloridamovingguides.com\/?p=680\">Florida reading recovery lags as arts programs expand in Miami-Dade schools<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Leer en espa\u00f1ol<\/p>\n<p>According to deputies with the Miami-Dade Sheriff\u2019s Office, Noel Padilla and his wife argued after an earlier physical altercation between Padilla and one of their two children at their home in the 13000 block of Southwest 143rd Avenue in Miami-Dade County\u2019s unincorporated Three Lakes area.<\/p>\n<p>Deputies said the argument escalated when Padilla, 56, retrieved a \u201cconcealed carry bag\u201d that contained a black gun and went upstairs with it. <\/p>\n<p>When he returned downstairs, he removed the weapon, pointed it at the victim\u2019s head, and asked if she was \u201cdone arguing,\u201d before firing a shot that narrowly missed her and struck a wall, authorities said. <\/p>\n<p>Investigators said Padilla then approached his wife while still pointing the gun at her face. <\/p>\n<p>During a struggle over the weapon, a second round was discharged, deputies said.
