CORAL GABLES, Fla. — A pantless man illegally entered two Coral Gables apartments that had been left unlocked early Sunday, apparently after a night of drinking on the Fourth of July, authorities said.

According to arrest reports obtained Monday by Local 10 News, the first burglary occurred just before 2 a.m., when Noah Alec Dutzer, 26, of Miami, allegedly entered a woman’s apartment while she was out.
Police said later in the morning, the woman was alerted by a neighbor who said that he heard footsteps coming from her apartment and believed someone had broken into it.
The victim then checked her in-home security cameras and saw that Dutzer had been inside her apartment for hours, touching his genitals on her couch and filling a glass cup he had with him with her Fireball whiskey, authorities said.
According to the arrest report, Dutzer rummaged through the victim’s sofa, went in and out of her bedroom and walked in and out of her apartment multiple times before sleeping on her couch.
Police said he woke up just before 7:30 a.m. and left the apartment once again before coming back.
Shortly after 8:30 a.m., Dutzer noticed the victim’s in-home security camera and turned it away from the living room, authorities said.
Police said Dutzer was taken into custody as he was leaving the building after the victim called 911.
According to a separate arrest report, Dutzer had also entered another apartment unit in the building at about 2:30 a.m.

In that incident, the victim was sleeping inside and was awakened by a pantless Dutzer turning on his phone’s flashlight at the victim’s bathroom door, inside his bedroom, authorities said.
Police said the victim, who had never seen Dutzer before, told him to leave and Dutzer responded, “My fault, my fault,” and left.
According to the report, the victim checked his apartment after Dutzer left and confirmed to police that nothing had been rummaged through or was missing.
According to the reports, Dutzer told detectives that he had been drinking for several hours at a bar on Giralda Avenue with some friends and only recalled arriving to the area with an unknown woman.
The reports state that he said he recalled moments of being inside the first apartment, but had moments of “blacking out.” He said he didn’t recall entering the man’s apartment, authorities said.
The address to the victims’ apartment building was redacted from the publicly released reports.
Dutzer was arrested on charges of burglary of an unoccupied dwelling and burglary of an occupied dwelling.
As of Monday morning, Dutzer was being held at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center. Online jail records listed his bond as “to be set.”
