Miami Gardens police said the crash happened Monday night near Northwest Second Avenue, close to a Tesla dealership.
Crews remained at the scene Tuesday morning clearing debris from the roadway and removing damaged vegetation following the crash.
A witness who did not want to appear on camera told Local 10 that he narrowly avoided being struck by one of the vehicles involved.
“I seen some lights coming real fast,” the witness said. “If I didn’t pull off when I did, he would’ve smacked me. He hit the car right next to me.”

The witness said he saw the vehicle flip over after the crash.
“All I could see was him flipping over right there,” he said. “I was so shaken up because I work nights. I just kept going, I’m lucky.”
Miramar police are also involved in the investigation, but they haven’t said whether any of their officers were involved in the crash.
Police have not released the ages, identities or conditions of the individuals involved in the crash, nor have they said what the cause of the collision was.
