FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Fort Lauderdale police are investigating an incident that left two people injured Wednesday.
According to police, a stabbing was reported at about 4:15 a.m. in the 500 block of Southeast Ninth Court, just a few blocks away from Las Olas Boulevard.
Police said officers arrived at the scene and found one victim who had been stabbed and another who had sustained injuries in a separate way.
Both were transported by Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue to Broward Health Medical Center.

A Local 10 News crew was at the scene later in the morning as crime scene detectives were spotted combing the area for clues and taking photos of possible evidence.
At least six or seven evidence markers were on the ground, marking different spots in the parking lot.

No other details about the incident were immediately released.
