LAUDERHILL, Fla. — A cyclist was killed Saturday morning after being struck by a driver in Lauderhill, police confirmed.

Officers with the Lauderhill Police Department said they responded around 7:45 a.m. to the 4400 block of Inverrary Boulevard after receiving reports that a cyclist had been struck.
Police said they found a man suffering from multiple injuries and performed CPR until fire rescue crews arrived.
They said the man, who has not been identified at this time, was taken to Broward Health Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

Investigators said the driver remained at the scene, and there were no initial signs of impairment.
LPD officials said their traffic homicide and crime scene investigators are investigating the crash.
Police said the information is preliminary and could change as more details become available.
