Police: 2 people hospitalized after shooting in Hollywood

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. — Authorities are investigating a shooting that occurred overnight in Hollywood.

Investigators shut down a portion of the 2700 block of Arthur Street after gunfire rang out at a late night studio session around 2:30 a.m.

When they arrived, officers said they found two men with gunshot wounds.

According to family of one of the victims, a 23-year-old man was inside a home when someone inside pulled out a gun and started shooting.

They said their family member was shot multiple times in his abdomen, hand, and leg.

Police said the suspect remained at the scene and was taken into custody.
