BOCA RATON, Fla. — A small plane crashed offshore Saturday morning near 250 S. Ocean Boulevard in Boca Raton, according to Boca Raton Fire Rescue officials.

Fire rescue officials said Boca Raton police and BRFR medics responded to the crash at about 10:25 a.m. They said the pilot was not injured.
Authorities said emergency personnel remained at the scene as they responded to the incident. Officials urged the public to avoid the area while the emergency response was underway.
