MIAMI — On Sunday, detectives were investigating a street shooting after finding a 32-year-old man wounded in a red Hyundai that was riddled with bullets in Miami.

Police officers and fire rescue personnel responded at about 3:30 a.m. on Saturday to the 5800th block of Northwest 12th Avenue in Miami’s Liberty City neighborhood.
Fire rescue personnel took the wounded man — whose condition was serious after he was shot several times — to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center, according to police.

A tow truck driver hauled the four-door Hyundai off the street after police officers seized it as evidence.
