MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. — One person was killed and another was critically injured Sunday afternoon after a Porsche with two people inside crashed into a pole in Southwest Miami-Dade.

The crash happened around 2:15 p.m. on Southwest 168th Street, where neighbors rushed outside after hearing a loud boom and called 911.
Bystanders could be heard checking on the victims and trying to determine who was still alive.
Brianna Fiallos said she was in her kitchen when she heard the crash.
“I heard a loud boom,” Fiallos said.
She ran outside with her neighbors to see what happened.
“Everybody came out. We all heard it,” she said.
The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office Traffic Homicide Unit is investigating the single-vehicle crash.

Investigators said two men were inside the vehicle. One of them died at the scene.
Video showed paramedics taking the second victim into an ambulance. He was transported to Jackson North Medical Center in critical condition. His current condition is unknown.
The cause of the crash, including whether speed was a factor, is under investigation.

The crash left the Porsche split in half, according to a bystander.
