MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. — The Miami Dolphins have traded a quarterback following the conclusion of their preseason schedule.

According to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, the Dolphins traded Quinn Ewers to the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The Fins will receive a 2028 six-round pick for Ewers, according to Adam Schefter.
Miami originally selected Ewers in the seventh round of the 2025 NFL Draft after playing collegiately with the Texas Longhorns.

Ewers played in four games for the Dolphins last season, finishing with 622 passing yards, three touchdowns and three interceptions for a QBR of 32.8.
Miami lost its final preseason game on Friday, 17-12 to the Atlanta Falcons.
The loss dropped the Dolphins to 0-3 on the preseason.
The next game for Miami will be their Week 1 matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sept. 13.
