DELRAY BEACH, Fla. — A 50-year-old man was behind bars on Saturday after he confessed to killing his 77-year-old mother in Delray Beach, according to the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies arrested Alexander G. Harrington on Friday afternoon after he confessed to fatally stabbing his mother at the 5100 block of Monterey Lane, according to deputies.
A Facebook profile showed Harrington identified as an “intuitive healer” and life coach in Boynton Beach. He shared nine posts on Friday with his more than 5,300 followers.

“I am faith truth and love,” Harrington wrote, according to the Facebook page.
Palm Beach corrections booked Harrington shortly after 10:15 p.m. on Friday at the Main Detention Center, where he remained without bond on Saturday afternoon, according to inmate records. He faced a charge of first-degree murder.
