Davie police officer injured in crash

DAVIE, Fla. — Authorities in Broward County are investigating a police involved crash.

It happened Monday afternoon near the intersection of Griffin Road and Davie Road.

Police said the officer involved in the crash sustained minor injuries.

The officer was taken to a local area hospital for treatment.

Traffic unit investigators said they are looking into the circumstances that led up to the crash.
