Woman, 25, arrested for attempted murder after Pompano Beach stabbing, cops say

POMPANO BEACH, Fla. — A Memorial Day stabbing in Pompano Beach sent a man to the hospital and a woman to jail, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office.

BSO spokesperson Carey Codd said the stabbing happened at around 9:10 a.m. in the 1900 block of Northwest 24th Street.

Codd said medics found a man with stab wounds and took him to a nearby hospital. He’s expected to survive.

Meanwhile, Codd said deputies arrested a 25-year-old woman, identified as Dellisha Guadalupe, on an attempted murder charge.

Authorities have not released information about what led up to the stabbing.

Guadalupe’s booking photo wasn’t immediately available on Monday.
