Deputies seek girl, 14, reported missing from Lauderdale Lakes

LAUDERDALE LAKES, Fla. — Detectives with the Broward Sheriff’s Office Missing Persons Unit asked for the public’s help Wednesday in locating a 14-year-old girl who they say went missing this past weekend.

According to investigators, Georchel Cephas was last seen on Saturday wearing a multicolored dress near the 3200 block of West Oakland Park Boulevard in Lauderdale Lakes.

Deputies said she is approximately 5 feet, 6 inches tall, weighs about 110 pounds, and has black hair and brown eyes.
