MIAMI BEACH, Fla. — Authorities have identified the victim who died after a shooting outside a Miami Beach sports bar.

Police said 31-year-old Diego Pereira is who lost his life during the shooting that occurred shortly before 5 a.m. Friday outside the Sandbar sports bar, located at 6752 Collins Ave.
According to witnesses, a fight between Pereira and Quayshawn West inside the bar turned violent.

Police said Pereira was shot in an alley shortly after the altercation.
West is now facing a second degree murder charge.
As of Tuesday evening, he was being held at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center without bond.
