Organizers said there is enough room for about 30,000 fans to enjoy watch parties at four massive screens at the park at 301 Biscayne Boulevard.
“Everyone is welcome, all ages … they will be able to watch the games for free, while they are enjoying the music, the dancing, the food,” Miami-Dade Mayor Daniella Levine Cava said on Wednesday.
For security, there will be metal detectors, and there is an “only clear bags” policy. Bags larger than 12 inches by 6 inches are not allowed.
Vaping and smoking are also banned. Chairs, blankets, tents, scooters, air horns, laser pointers, and inflatables are all included in the list of prohibited items.
