MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. — A 29-year-old man appeared in court on Thursday in Miami-Dade County after police officers accused him of stealing iPhones from his employer.

Police officers arrested Julio Davila on Wednesday at the BBC Logistics, a freight forwarding service at 2016 NW 135 Ave., in Sweetwater, records show.
Davila allegedly stole iPhones on June 1 that were valued at $4,796 from a delivery table, according to the police officer’s arrest report.
Surveillance video shows Davila grabbing “a sealed package” and hiding it “inside his pants,” a police officer wrote, according to the report.

Miami-Dade corrections booked Davila on Wednesday afternoon at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center, according to inmate records.
Davila appeared before Miami-Dade County Circuit Judge Mindy Glazer on Thursday, and she ordered him to stay away from BBC Logistics.
Davila faced three counts of third-degree grand theft. His bond was $7,500.
