MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. — Brazilian and Scottish fans celebrated together at the Miami Stadium’s FIFA World Cup fan zone on Wednesday afternoon.

Samba didn’t drown the bagpipes, as the Tartan Army and their wool kilts descended on the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens.
The stadium’s gates opened at 3 p.m. Fans had arrived early to get through a security screening, several lines, long walks, a bus ride, and ticket checks.
The demand for tickets was high. Entry-level resale prices ranged from $1,600 to $1,855. Tickets later averaged between $3,500 and $5,445. Premium seats reached $25,800.

After the 6 p.m. Group C matches, the two teams with the most points will advance to the tournament’s next stage: The Round of 32.
Brazilians arrive with four points and Scotland with three points. Regardless of the winner on Wednesday night in Miami, both could still advance. Haiti plays the last World Cup match against Morocco in Atlanta, Ga.
