Deputies investigate fatal shooting in Pembroke Park

PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. — Authorities in Broward County are investigating a fatal shooting.

It happened shortly before 1 a.m. at the Orion gas station located at 3990 W. Hallandale Beach Blvd. in Pembroke Park.

The intersection at Hallandale Beach Boulevard and Southwest 40t h Avenue was blocked off for several hours as investigators processed the scene.

Detectives appeared to focus their investigation on a red Dodge vehicle, pulling out several pieces of apparent evidence over the course of the morning.

Dozens of evidence makers were also observed throughout the scene.

Units with Hallandale Beach police, Pembroke Park police and the Broward Sheriff’s Office were observed at the scene.

Authorities said BSO would be the lead on the investigation due to the homicide.

There has been no official information on the circumstances that led up to the shooting, the identity of the victim, if anyone has been arrested or detained, or if deputies are seeking any suspects or persons of interest.
