SUNRISE, Fla. — Police officers in Broward County are investigating an armed robbery.

It happened Tuesday evening along the 12000 block of Northwest Eighth Street in the Flamingo Park area of Sunrise.
According to police, the victim told responding officers he was robbed by multiple suspects who took off in a white SUV.

Authorities said the victim suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
Police did not provide any additional information regarding any suspects or persons of interest.
