FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Police in Fort Lauderdale responded to reports of a shooting around 4:30 a.m. Sunday.

Their investigation appeared to be focused on an area behind Truth Lounge and Nightclub and the Star America Food & Deli located along the 2600 block of Oakland Park Blvd.
Local 10 News’ cameras spotted detectives walking around the property examining the scene left behind after the apparent shooting.

Several evidence markers were left along the pavement, and bullet casings were scattered on the ground.
Officers quickly left the scene around 5:30 a.m. but have not provided any official information regarding the incident.
