Police surrounded a home in the 1900 block of Northwest 115th Street, where they found a man who had been shot.

He was taken to a nearby hospital and is stable.

A woman who lives nearby said she heard at least four gunshots.

“When she opened up the door we just heard pop, pop, pop, pop,” the neighbor said.

She said sometimes it can be difficult to tell whether a loud sound is gunfire or fireworks.

A sign reading “24 Hour Surveillance” was posted on the fence, and a camera was visible above the front door.

Neighbors said police were at the same home over the weekend.

Police have not released a description of the shooter and said the case remains under investigation.
