Tates’ extradition documents unsealed; Trump administration appears unmoved

MIAMI — The request to extradite the Tate brothers has been unsealed, and the Trump administration appears to be unmoved.

The president — nor his administration — will move to stop the extradition of Andrew and Tristan Tate to the United Kingdom, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said tersely.

“No, we have already answered that question,” she said.

Their attorney had name-checked both the president and Secretary of State Rubio this week, suggesting they could step in and spare the brothers, who broadcast their MAGA support to their millions of followers.

Both were arrested last week in Miami by U.S. Marshals. Both built a social media brand as hyper-masculine bad boys with self-described contempt for women.

These newly released court documents detail why the U.K. has asked to send them back to face justice: newly alleged crimes against women they called “cam girls” involved in their webcam business.

One describes Andrew Tate putting her in a chokehold repeatedly while raping her.

Another details Tristan Tate repeatedly choking, beating and raping her.

Thirty-eight new charges — a total of 59 in the U.K. involving seven women from 2010 to 2017.

The documents also reveal British prosecutors knew they would be in Miami last weekend. And there they were.

Andrew Tate broadcast a plan to co-host a boxing event here in South Florida.

Prosecutors alerted the U.S. and formally requested their arrest for extradition right there.

The Tates’ attorneys are fighting the extradition and they asked to have the brothers get out on bail during that process.

Prosecutors consider them a flight risk and are fighting that. It all comes back here to federal court for the next hearing on Monday.
