Local 10 Editorial: Take action now if you want to vote by mail

If you normally vote by mail and you have not received your ballot in the mail, chances are it is not coming ahead of the Aug. 18 primary election.

Florida’s vote by mail rules changed a few years back, and all previous vote by mail requests expired.

In order to continue to vote by mail, you need to take action now.

You must submit your vote by mail request to get ballots for elections that will occur this year and you’ll need to do it again before the next election cycle in 2028.

Go to the election website in your county to make the request or you can always vote early or on Election Day.
