FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — A fight between two homeless men ended with one suffering from a stab wound and another in police custody.

It happened Sunday around 12:20 p.m. along the 3900 block of Davie Blvd. in Fort Lauderdale.
According to the Fort Lauderdale Police Department, one of the men used a screwdriver to stab the other man before running away.
Responding officers were given the man’s description and he was found a short distance away and detained, police said.

The victim was treated at the scene by rescue crews and did not require hospitalization, according to authorities.
Officers said they were investigating the circumstances that led up to the stabbing.
