MIAMI — A man who is about 30 years old was injured Thursday night in a shooting in Miami, authorities confirmed to Local 10 News.

The shooting was reported in the area of Northwest Second Avenue and 12th Street.
According to Miami police Officer Kenia Fallat, the victim was shot in the torso.

She said a Miami Fire Rescue crew responded to the scene and transported the victim to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center, where he is listed in critical condition.
The investigation remains ongoing.
No other details were immediately released.
