Man stabs his 12-year-old cousin in Sunrise, police say

SUNRISE, Fla. — A 28-year-old man was arrested Thursday night after he stabbed his 12-year-old cousin in Sunrise, authorities confirmed.

The stabbing was reported at an apartment complex in the 12800 block of Vista Isles Drive.

According to Sunrise police, the victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
