According to officials, recent tests discovered that the water quality “does not meet the recreational water quality criteria for Enterococcus bacteria recommended by the Florida Department of Health.”
The DOH in Miami-Dade County is advising against any water-related activities due to the increased risk of illness to anyone who enters the water.

Officials said the advisory will remain in effect “until bacteria levels are below the accepted health level.”
