Deputies search for man who pepper-sprayed elderly woman after possible road rage incident

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. — The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in locating a suspect following a road rage incident.

It happened on Monday, Sept. 14 at approximately 6:52 p.m. in a residential area along the 11400 block of Southwest 185th Terrace.

According to deputies, the suspect seen in home surveillance footage was holding a large pepper-spray canister before spraying the elderly victim through her open passenger window.

Deputies said the incident may have stemmed from a road rage incident that followed a minor traffic collision.

The subject fled the scene following the incident, with deputies describing his vehicle as a silver, newer model Mercedes-Benz S-Class sedan.
